Remove the date stamp from old or scanned photos
Many film compacts and early digital cameras printed the date in orange or red digits in a corner. It's one of the easiest removals: the digits are small and usually sit over sky, ground or a plain area, so the fill blends in with little effort.

Open the free eraser →How to do it
- Scan or photograph the print, then open the file in the eraser.
- Use a brush slightly larger than the digit height and paint over the stamp, glow included.
- Erase, check with the slider, and download.
Tips for a cleaner result
- Scan at a decent resolution first; the eraser keeps the full resolution of whatever you load (images over 40 megapixels are downscaled on load).
- Batch scans need one erase per photo — there's no batch mode.
FAQ
My scans are TIFF files. Can I use them?
Not directly — supported inputs are JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF and BMP. Export the scan as PNG to keep it lossless; a PNG input also downloads as PNG.
