Remove people from a photo, privately in your browser
Travel shots and group photos often include people you never meant to capture. Brush over a person (or click them to auto-select) and the on-device inpainting model rebuilds the scenery behind them from the surrounding pixels. The photo is processed inside your browser tab, so a picture of friends or family never gets sent to a server.

Open the free eraser →How to do it
- Open the eraser and pick your photo (JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF or BMP).
- Switch to click-to-select and tap the person, or paint over them with the brush. Include their shadow.
- Press Erase. Only the masked region is processed, then blended back into the full-resolution original.
- Check edges with the before/after slider; brush any leftover outline and erase again.
- Download — PNG stays PNG, everything else saves as JPEG, with EXIF/GPS removed.
Tips for a cleaner result
- Remove one person at a time in a crowd; smaller masks give cleaner fills than one huge mask.
- People standing in front of plain backgrounds (sky, sand, grass, walls) disappear most convincingly.
- A person covering a face or detailed signage behind them can't be restored exactly — the model invents plausible background, not the real hidden content.
FAQ
Can it remove a person who takes up half the photo?
It will fill the area, but very large masks over complex scenes tend to look smeared. It works best when the person covers a modest part of the frame and the background around them is visible.
Is the photo of my family uploaded?
No. Decoding, the AI model and the final composite all run in your browser. After the model is cached you can even do it offline.
