Clean product photos for Amazon listings
Amazon's main-image rules are strict: a pure white background, the product filling most of the frame, and no text, logos or watermarks added to the image. Images at least 1,000 px on the longest side enable zoom. The eraser helps with the clean-up part — dust, stray threads, tags, props — while keeping your full resolution, so it won't drop you below the zoom threshold.

- Shoot the product on a white sweep or lightbox.
- Open the photo and brush over dust, lint, tags, clips or props.
- Erase and compare edges around the product at 100% zoom.
- Download. PNG sources stay PNG; others save as JPEG, which Amazon accepts.
- Crop and check the background is pure white in your usual editor before uploading.
Tips for a cleaner result
- The eraser doesn't replace or whiten backgrounds; it fills erased areas with nearby pixels. A clean white shoot gives a white fill.
- Keep the soft contact shadow under the product — it looks natural and is generally acceptable.
- Never erase defects or features the buyer will receive differently.
FAQ
Will the image lose resolution?
